About
As an Executive and Operations intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in arts administration and community engagement that will serve you well in any career in the arts. Working alongside the Executive Assistant and the Engagement & Education Manger you’ll have the opportunity to learn about nonprofit financial management, database systems, organizational technology, strategic planning, and human resources. You’ll book staff and artist travel, draft special correspondence, and attend meetings of all types. You will also learn about relationship building strategies and the logistics of working together with communities to ensure public arts projects that are accessible and engaging to a wide variety of audiences.

Qualifications
Applicants should have a high attention to detail and be organized, motivated, and self-directed. In addition, solid writing, research, and computer skills are helpful, as is a professional and comfortable phone manner. An interest in contemporary art, a familiarity with the field, a sense of humor, and enthusiasm for Creative Time’s mission and programs are important. Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, FTP, HTML, art handling, Excel, grant writing, and shmoozing are highly desirable.
