Learn how a dynamic art organization shapes its public persona and communicates with the art world and the broader public with the Marketing Department. As a Marketing intern you’ll be involved in all aspects of Creative Time’s communications and public relations, determining project messaging and identity with artists, curators, and graphic designers, as well as and securing and tracking press coverage for Creative Time events and projects. You’ll gain a thorough knowledge of the entire organization—our goals and working methods, as well as the technology and digital media used to shape our public presence.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
If you’re interested in public relations, media, or technology and communications, the Marketing team wants you on board to draft and disseminate press releases, listings information, and correspondence; conduct research on media outlets; maintain the press database; update our website; and post for and about CT on social media.
Can you cut video in Premiere in your sleep? Are you a Photoshop whiz? If so, the Marketing team wants you on board to assist photographers and videographers with documentation of project and events; shoot photos and videos yourself; and help with image/video editing and catalogue management.

How to Apply
Applicants should have a high attention to detail and be organized, motivated, and self-directed. In addition, solid writing, research, and computer skills are helpful, as is a professional and comfortable phone manner. An interest in contemporary art, a familiarity with the field, a sense of humor, and enthusiasm for Creative Time’s mission and programs are important. Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, art handling, Excel, grant writing, and shmoozing are highly desirable.
