Our Marketing and Communications Department oversees all external communications including our website, e-blasts, event invitations, video productions, and digital archive. As an M&C intern, you can expect to gain experience working within the External Affairs department to create and execute strategic press campaigns; support audience development initiatives; update and organize archives and internal databases; and conduct social media campaigns on behalf of the institution. Ideal candidates will have an interest in communications and/or marketing, have active experience with social media, excellent written and interpersonal skills, and a strong understanding of Creative Time’s mission and programming.
MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
If you’re interested in public relations, media, or technology and communications, the Marketing team wants you on board to draft and disseminate press releases, listings information, and correspondence; conduct research on media outlets; maintain the press database; update our website; and post for and about CT on social media.
How to Apply
Applicants should have a high attention to detail and be organized, motivated, and self-directed. In addition, solid writing, research, and computer skills are helpful, as is a professional and comfortable phone manner. An interest in contemporary art, a familiarity with the field, a sense of humor, and enthusiasm for Creative Time’s mission and programs are important. Skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, art handling, Excel, grant writing, and shmoozing are highly desirable.
