As Deputy Director, Alyssa works closely with Creative Time’s Executive and Artistic Directors, and its Board of Trustees, to oversee the group’s many public initiatives, as well as both short and long-term organizational growth. She is integrally involved in the development and production of Creative Time projects.
Alyssa joined Creative Time in 2012, as Director of Development, and was promoted to Director of External Affairs, in 2015, expanding her responsibilities to include oversight of the organization’s marketing and communications departments.
As Development Director, Alyssa helped to implement a comprehensive growth strategy, which saw Creative Time’s annual budget increase from $3MM to $5.5MM and founded the Creative Time Ambassadors, a junior board of culturally influential young people.
Prior to Creative Time, Alyssa oversaw Institutional Giving for StoryCorps, successfully building a corporate sponsorship program from the ground up and serving as liaison to the NYC Mayor’s Office. Alyssa has also been Director of Development for the CUNY Graduate Center’s Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies and has held a variety of creative positions in the worlds of art, fashion, and music. Alyssa received a Masters degree in Gender Politics from NYU.
