What we love: Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller’s The Murder of Crows

August 5th, 2012

Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller’s The Murder of Crows is currently on view until September 9 at Park Avenue Armory. From the Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary Collection, The Murder of Crows is a sound installation, which draws the listener into an alternate reality and sonic interpretation of dreams told through fluttering voices and sounds, from crashing waves to birds’ cries to the hubbub of a factory floor. Park Avenue Armory presents the US premiere of this work in association with the Mostly Mozart Festival.
