  1. Anna T says:

It’s on top of the most steepest hill in the Bronx…EVER!! It was a workout.

  2. Laura Brose says:

Yeah, those who can’t do cardio or those who are in wheelchairs, etc. should skip this one. However, the school building is lovely and the security guard on duty snapped my picture with the key and the display case.

  3. Theresa says:

No need to climb the hill — or back down. Hop on the BX13 bus and let the MTA haul you up the hill in air-conditioned comfort. Bus stop is right in front of Yankee Stadium — it’s the beginning of the line and you are headed uptown towards Washington Heights. Get off the bus about 5 minutes later at the top of the hill – 164th and Ogden. It’s the second stop after the bus turns and starts up the hill. You are only two blocks from PS 73 when you get off.

You could also take the more direct and less steep route of Jerome Slope straight to the school. I mentally kicked myself when I realized I took the long, hilly way around.

Also, check out the beautiful garden across the street from the front of the school.

  5. The Wings says:

The voices were never heard. The envelope was empty.

  6. Connie says:

Do not take the Jerome Slope to the school. Many people complained about the stairs, the hills are fine and thankfully not exhausting as the steps. The Hills follow the map and are much more straight forward. If you have time, check out the community garden and go down the Jerome Slope stairs at the far end of the parking lot.

Also, fun to leave notes and yes, the envelope was empty. was there originally something in there?
