Vik Muniz

    (born 1961 in Sao Paulo; lives and works in New York)

    Vik Muniz’s photographs often serve as documents for staged, illusive events, raising questions about the power and nature of representations. His work has been exhibited extensively around the world. Muniz previously worked with Creative Time in 2001 for his project “Clouds,” featuring a series of clouds drawn by a skywriter over Manhattan.
