Aaron Krach is an artist and writer based in New York City. His work questions the value of tradition and the meaning of “art objects.” He uses ephemeral materials and existing distribution methods to create projects that invite the participation of an audience to complete the creative process. Aaron’s work has been exhibited in galleries, apartments and public spaces in cities large (São Paulo, NYC) and small (Lake Ohrid, Macedonia). More often, it finds a home in self-published books and T-shirts, newspaper advertisements and billboards. Aaron has worked with Christopher Robbins and Ghana Think Tank in Tbilisi, Georgia, as part of “Streetwise: At Eliava Bazaar,” curated by Lydia Matthews for Artisterium. He is the recipient of a Lower Manhattan Cultural Grant for public art. His first novel, Half-Life, was published in 2006.
