Encke King directs narrative and documentary films, including Ignatz & Lottie, City of Strangers and Nicaraguan Journal: Against the Light. He has created short-subject documentaries for non-profit organizations, including UNICEF and the Museum of the City of New York, and provided narration for films such as Thom Andersen’s Los Angeles Plays Itself and Reconversão. With Jim Hodges and Carlos Marques da Cruz, he created Untitled. He wrote and edited the documentary feature The Presence of Joseph Chaikin, and is currently editing his 35mm narrative feature in New York.
