Born and raised in Brooklyn, Liz Feldman started performing stand-up comedy at 16, much to the dismay of her parents, whom most of her jokes were about. At 18, she landed a job as a writer/performer on Nickelodeon's All That. She then went on to graduate from Boston University and from improv schools The Second City and The Groundlings. Feldman won four Emmys for her work as a writer/producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and also wrote for The 79th Annual Academy Awards. She was a writer/performer on Blue Collar TV on a writer/producer on Hot in Cleveland, for TV Land. Currently, Feldman is a writer/producer on 2 Broke Girls on CBS.
