Luis Camnitzer

Uruguayan artist Luis Camnitzer has resided in New York since 1964. In 1988, he represented Uruguay in the Venice Biennial and he has exhibited at the 2000 Whitney Biennial, Documenta XI, and many other international events. Luis is the author of several books, including Conceptualism in Latin America: Didactics of Liberation (University of Texas Press, 2007).
