Katia Arfara is a researcher, writer, teacher and curator. As the Theatre and Dance Artistic Director of the Onassis Cultural Centre, she founded the Fast Forward Festival which incorporates an expanded field of art practices, in 2014. Her essays have appeared in various journals and critical anthologies. Dr Arfara is the author of the book Théâtralités contemporaines (2011) and the editor of the special issue Scènes en Transition-Balkans et Grèce for Théâtre/Public (2016).
