What, How, and for Whom

WHW is a collective of curators composed of Ivet Ćurlin, Ana Dević, Nataša Ilić, and Sabina Sabolović. They have directed the city-owned non-profit Gallery Nova since 2003. Their name, which was also the title of their first project, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Communist Manifesto, comes from the three essential economic questions, drawing a pointed parallel between economic structures and art production. They recently curated the 11th Istanbul Biennial.
