Moderated by Ombretta Agro Andruff, this session explores ways that interdisciplinary engagement can advance change and increase awareness about environmental issues that impact our world. Integrating artists and cultural producers with climate science, ARTSail residencies address warming trends arising from human development. Interdisciplinary engagement facilitates advocacy, discourse, and education for practitioners and the public to reflect on environmental issues impacting our world. Participants will learn how ARTSail and its primary vessel partner, The Impossible Dream (a universally accessible 60’ catamaran) formed and collaborated, offering inspiration and programs that improve quality of life for those afflicted by disabilities.
