Braden King

Braden King is a New York-based filmmaker, photographer and visual artist. His most recent feature film, HERE, chronicles a brief but affecting relationship between an American satellite-mapping engineer and an expatriate Armenian art photographer who decide to travel together into uncharted territory, literally and metaphorically. Additional credits include the lyric documentary on the Aleutian Islands, DUTCH HARBOR: WHERE THE SEA BREAKS ITS BACK (co-directed with Laura Moya), which screened in over 20 major film festivals and toured internationally. Awards and honors include the the 2011 Berlin Film Festival C.I.C.A.E. Award and a 2010 Cinereach / Sundance Institute Fellowship.
