At the forefront of a burgeoning community media movement, BRIC TV has built an online audience of millions, won numerous major media awards and showcased original works at Sundance Film Festival, Tribeca and abroad – all from a community-facing, non-profit in downtown Brooklyn. In this workshop, BRIC TV Executive Producer, Aziz Isham, will share strategies for impact storytelling and creating alternative media ecosystems to allow our communities to tell their own stories and tell them well. This session is intended for local activists, producers and those interested in forming affordable community media groups and horizontal distribution channels.

Aziz Isham is the Executive Producer of BRIC TV and an Emmy and Webby-award winning producer of over thirty tv-series, documentaries, features and interactive media projects. BRIC TV, launched in 2015, has emerged as one of the country’s premier grassroots community media organizations.
