After witnessing the 2011 Egyptian Revolution while researching for her honored thesis at Brown University and working in Brazil at the wake of the 2013 mass protests, Sofía became utterly captivated by public space activation. Upon returning to Puerto Rico, she has become an advocate for community-driven urban design.
