June - September, 1982

Kathryn Posin and company perform modern dance Waves, Soft StormPrism, and Galena Summit which relates to the processes of nature. Blondel Cummings attempts to make lack of focus a virtue in her performance, he searched from wall to wall, which was a recreation of a 1940s murder mystery including a motorcyclists, a live horse, actors lurking around the sculptures, and a samba combo. The Rock Steady Crew performs featuring DJ Spy, Grand Mixer DST and other djs. Break dancers from Harlem and the South Bronx perform. Susan Rethorst dancers perform in and around Alice Aycock's sculpture, dealing with the problems of an endless open-air space. Frank Conversano turns the beach into a 2500 square foot playing field with three teams of five players.
