"Yellow Potluck" is a diorama-style installation in the windows of the former American Male boutique, alluding with humor, irony and a sense of desperation to the complexities of multi-culturalism.
Artists' Biography
Roger Shimomura is a "Distinguished Professor" at the University of Kansa, where he teaches painting and performance art. He has had 70 solo exhibitions of his paintings and prints and has performed across the country. He is the recipient of three National Endowment for the Arts fellowships.
