Art in the Anchorage 12- Affirmative Actions: Artists At Work, included nine multidisciplinary collaborative projects in the Anchorage. The collaborators included Joan Bankemper, Karin Giusti, Tim Collins and Reiko Goto, Foundry Theatre, Charles Dennis and Normando Ismay, Ilya Kabakov, Betsy Newman, Maura Sheehan, and Hope Sandrow with Terry Adkins, Jane Dickson, Robin Kahn, Susan Leopold, Christian Marclay, Matthew McCaslin, Sara Pasti, and neighbors, and Glen Seator. Visitors watched skateboarders execute daring stunts as they soared from a twelve-foot half-pipe in addition to learning how to make herbal remedies, explore the symbolism of the bridge, and the waterfront areas.
