Laura Diamond Dixit is a Ph.D. student in architecture at Columbia University and started working with Who Builds Your Architecture? in 2014. She holds an M.Arch in architecture from Princeton University and a B.A. in art history from Reed College. Prior to attending Princeton she worked in the exhibitions department at the International Center of Photography and as a studio assistant for Allan Sekula. She has received a J. Paul Getty Trust Library Research Grant and a Ruby and Lankford Grant for Collaborative Research in the Humanities. She has also written for Pidgin and Camera Austria. Her current research is on aesthetics, labor and technology across the Indian Ocean region.
