Artist, writer, and organizer Dan S. Wang lives in Madison, Wisconsin, and frequently works with others to create events, exhibitions, and publications. He is a co-founder of Mess Hall, an experimental cultural center in Chicago that functions as an open space for art making, idea generation, exhibitions, workshops, and lectures. In addition to his many articles published in journals, museum catalogues, and artists' publications, his texts will be included in the forthcoming books Arrow Factory Triennial Book, Space RE: SolutionsIntervention and Research in Visual Culture, The Essential New Art Examiner, and We Are Wisconsin, an electronic reader on the Wisconsin Uprising.
