Minerva Cuevas is a conceptual artist whose practice utilizes a variety of media. Her site-specific interventions work to politically engage audiences and disrupt dominant systems of power. Through her non-profit Mejor Vida Corporation, she disseminates free products and services such as ID cards, barcode stickers, and posters that grant access to goods and serve as political interventions. Cuevas has exhibited extensively and has art works in various collections, including the Tate in London.
