Miriam Andersson Blecher, Botkyrka Konsthall

As Curator of Program and Education for Botkyrka Konsthall, Miriam Andersson Blecher works to demonstrate the potential of art to help revitalize urban space in Tumba, Sweden. Botkyrka Konsthall strives to be a model example of how art can function as a catalyst for the revitalization of a city. It offers a broad program of events, exhibitions, and projects as well as an international artist residency and research initiative that focuses on the encouragement of community participation in public art. It is also home to Labyrint Press, founded in 2007 by director Joanna Sandell and artist Pia Sandström as an exhibition space and publishing house for artists’ books and publications for permanent public view.
