WRITING THE SOCIAL:
A PARTICIPATORY WORKSHOP

Led by Gretchen Coombs

COOPER FOUNDATION BUILDING, 8TH FLOOR, PETER COOPER SUITE

Note: This session requires pre-registration and is capped according to venue size. Pens and paper will be provided.

How can we write about the individuals and communities we encounter in our practice? How can writing about these social exchanges inform, document, and evaluate our work? After a warm up exercise, participants will follow directed writing prompts to consider these questions. Then they will engage in conversations to develop ethical techniques to better express everyday encounters.
