Tunde Adebimpe is an artist, musician, and actor living in Brooklyn, New York. He is a founding member of the band TV On The Radio, whose last album, Dear Science, was voted "album of the year" by both Spin and Rolling Stone. He recently co-starred in Jonathan Demme's critically acclaimed film Rachel Getting Married and created the soundtrack (along with band-mate Gerard Smith) for Madeleine Sackler's documentary The Lottery.

After living in many places, Edie Fake now resides in Chicago. His varied practice includes: books, zines, comics, drawings, tattoos, videos, installations, and performances. He was one of the first recipients of Printed Matter's Awards for Artists, and his first book, Gaylord Phoenix, will be released later this year from Secret Acres. His next project is a large scroll based on queer history in Chicago.

Lisa Hanawalt's vivid comics and drawings have been included in The Believer, McSweeney's, Vice Magazine, the L.A. Weekly, and Arthur Magazine, among other publications. Her genre-bending and hilarious debut comic book I Want You, which includes both interspecies romance and freeway accidents, was published by Beunaventura Press in 2009. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

James Turek's comics have appeared in such publications as YETI Magazine, and he is represented by the Leo Kesting Gallery in Manhattan. He is currently living, working, drawing, and biking in Leipzig, Germany, and is the survivor of a recent encounter with a wild boar. His most recent comic is an interplanetary battle between Lizardmen and Birdmen.

Michael DeForge's vivid and surreal illustrations have appeared in exhibitions across Canada and the U.S., as well as in various publications including The Believer and New York Magazine. He won the 2010 Doug Wright Award in the category of "Best Emerging Talent," and his ongoing comic book series Lose is published by Koyama Press. DeForge currently lives and works in Toronto.

Michael Kupperman's trippy comics have appeared in numerous publications, including the New York Times, Screw, and The Believer. Snake 'n' Bacon, two of his most beloved characters (a hissing serpent and a talking strip of bacon), recently became an animated and live-action pilot for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. His Tales Designed to Thrizzle, now in its fifth volume, is published by Fantagraphics.
