Jeanne van Heeswijk

This year, the recipient of the third Leonore Annenberg Prize is Jeanne van Heeswijk, who is being recognized for permanently engaging citizens to enact social change within their own communities. Her projects, which have been exhibited in internationally renowned biennials such as Venice, Busan, Taipei, and Shanghai, are realized through her integration into local communities, where she becomes an active citizen, and encourages neighbors and community members to participate in the planning and realization of the project.
