Director of Public Projects
As the Director of Public Projects, Jean leads the programming department and all public art commissions, is a key liaison between the curatorial team, executive team and commissioning artists, and oversees the organization’s engagement and education initiatives. Jean joined Creative Time in April of 2012 as Project Manager, heading up the production of several key exhibitions including Nick Cave’s HEARD•NY in Grand Central Terminal, Kara Walker’s A Subtlety… at the former Domino Sugar factory, and Drifting in Daylight in Central Park. Prior to Creative Time she worked at the Oakland, CA based gallery Johansson Projects, and produced an experimental performance and visual arts series at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. She holds a Masters degree in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University.
