Nato Thompson in Conversation about Jeremy Deller’s It Is What It Is

On February 2, 2013, at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Creative Time Chief Curator Nato Thompson participates in a discussion with artist Jeremy Deller and others about Deller’s It Is What It Is: Conversations About Iraq. The 2009 project, commissioned by Creative Time and the New Museum, was intended to stimulate dialogue about the history, present, and future of Iraq.
Thompson and Deller will be joined by Iraq War veteran Sergent Jonathan Harvey and Iraqi citizen Esam Pasha, both of whom participated in It Is What It Is.
