2013 CREATIVE TIME FALL BALL
On a cold autumn night, Creative Time and more than 1,000 of our closest friends got hot dancing the night away at Output in Williamsburg in support of trailblazing artists’ dream projects. From the start, vibrant color and diversity were the name of the game. Andrea Mary Marshall’s Vanitas was the patron saint of the evening, presiding over the party in a Day-Glo rainbow while Eske Kath‘s fluorescent jungle utopia overtook the DJ booth and crawled out on the dance floor. Alex Da Corte‘s joker-dressed mimes made gifts of his shimmering rubber-dipped roses to guests while repeatedly glitter-bombing the dance floor well past midnight. André Saraiva’s “New York I Love You” Dream Poster lined the walls, inspiring us to keep making magic in this magical city we all love – of course, with a little bit of help from our friends at Absolut and their Red, Orange, and Blue “Mystery” cocktails designed by The Elm. Old school met new with a “Williamsburg Toile” designed by Ruffian and John Gordon Gauld decked with thousands upon thousands of Prismacolor markers used by guests to leave their mark on the entryway walls. Throughout it all The Dolls (outfitted with string quartet and turntables), JD Samson, Tiki Disco, and Jeffrey Tonnesen kept everyone up on their feet and moving to the beat courtesy of Helmut Lang.
Major thanks to all of our hosts, sponsors, and guests: this night could never have been possible without you!
