David Levi Strauss

David Levi Strauss is an award-winning critic and writer. His essays, reviews, and interviews have appeared in such publications as Artforum, Aperture, and The Nation, as well as The Brooklyn Rail, where he serves as a consulting editor. His books include Between the Eyes: Essays on Photography and Politics and Between Dog and Wolf: Essays on Art and Politics. Strauss is currently the Chair of the graduate Art Criticism and Writing Department at the School of Visual Arts.
