Zina Saro-Wiwa

Zina Saro-Wiwa is a British-Nigerian artist and curator working in video, photography, food and social practice. Formerly a BBC journalist and TV presenter, she is also the founder of Boys’ Quarters Project Space, a gallery in the Niger Delta dedicated to exploring the relationship between self and environment. Her best known documentary This Is My Africa (2009) was shown on HBO. Saro-Wiwa was one of Foreign Policy Magazine’s Global Thinkers (2016) and a Guggenheim Fellow in Fine Art (2017).
