Videotage’s Hong Kong Additions to Living as Form
December 3rd, 2012
Hong Kong-based art collective Videotage is in NYC for the first time, as part of an ICI-organized exhibition introducing four innovative art spaces from around the world. The Videotage portion of the show includes works that the organization added to the traveling version of the Creative Time exhibition Living as Form—titled Living as Form (The Nomadic Version)—as well as a compilation of works from the Videotage Media Art Collection, one of the oldest art archives in Asia. Other art spaces included in the exhibition are Contemporary Art Center Vilnius; Matadero Madrid; and Raw Material Company, Dakar. Organized by ICI (Independent Curators International), with works co-curated by Nevena Ivanova and Helen Homan Wu, the exhibition is on view at ICI’s Curatorial Hub at {TEMP} (57 Walker St., NYC) through January 27, 2013.
