Creative Time

T-minus three days until the end of Space Program: Mars

July 14th, 2012

Don’t miss your chance to visit Mars! This Sunday, June 17, is the last day of Tom Sachs’s SPACE PROGRAM: MARS exhibition at Park Avenue Armory, the show that’s “putting the blast in blastoff” and marks “one of the biggest public art events of the year.”

Observe Grummans at work at Mission Control, watch Tom Sachs movies at the cinema, become indoctrinated and explore the Landing Excursion Module, visit the Museum of the Moon, witness a rescue operation every day at 1PM and 3PM, and learn why there’s a Japanese teahouse on Mars. There’s so much to explore for the whole family!

The Breakfast with Mars Scientists event on Saturday is sold out, but you can still participate via social media! Creative Time (@creativetimenyc) and Park Avenue Armory (@ParkAveArmory) will be live-tweeting from the event, so send us your burning questions for the Q&A.

SPACE PROGRAM: MARS will be open today until 7PM, on Friday from 12PM to 9PM, on Saturday from 12PM to 11PM for the Endurance Demonstration (more info below), and Sunday from 12PM to 7PM.
