Living as Form (The Nomadic Version) Heads to Its Tenth (!) Location

Living as Form (The Nomadic Version)—the traveling version of Creative Time’s landmark 2011 exhibition—will be on view in Greencastle, Indiana, at DePauw University’s Richard E. Peeler Art Center, from September 5 through November 28.
Organized by Creative Time Chief Curator Nato Thompson, Living as Form provides a broad, international look at a socially engaged practices. Venues on the exhibition’s tour, which is a project of Independent Curators International, add works to the exhibition, and many also organize related events. The exhibition at DePauw will feature a large-scale installation by artist Jacob K. Stanley, who will lead volunteers from the community and students at DePauw to construct an installation piece in the gallery that addresses issues of housing and sustainability.
