Starting September 27, join us every Saturday at Weeksville Heritage Center (158 Buffalo Avenue, Brooklyn) for a free series of Conversations on Self-Determination, presented and produced in partnership with the New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Gather on the lawn for afternoon discussions on the main exhibition themes of Funk, God, Jazz, and Medicine, featuring a wide range of artists, curators, performers, writers, and scholars. Free and open to the public.
