Creative Time

Mark Choi

2025-26 Leonhardt Cassullo Video Fellow

Mark Choi is the Creative Director and Head of Production at Bad Etiquette, where he leads hands-on storytelling projects that focus on grounded, relatable narratives about human passion, identity, and creativity. As Creative Time’s 2025-26 Leonhardt Cassullo Video Fellow, he works collaboratively across the organization to capture Creative Time’s variety of programs and produce promotional, editorial, and documentary videos.

As a Baylor University Film and Digital Media graduate who grew up making home movies with friends, Mark approaches every project with a belief in collaboration that emphasizes communication, empathy, and celebration. His work often supports nonprofits and highlights systemically disenfranchised communities, shining light on stories that have often been pushed to the side.

Mark is passionate about public art. With public creative expression increasingly under threat, Mark believes it is more important than ever for people to engage with art as a vital source of connection, freedom, and hope. Art is a bridge that creates conversation and unifies communities.

Outside of his creative work, Mark fuels his passion through travel, reading, films, music, and a personal interest in Japanese sake.
