1993 marked the second consecutive year Creative Time presented We Interrupt this Program…, a live national television show created for World AIDS Day and Day Without Art. Similar in format to the previous year’s broadcast, the program featured live performances addressing the AIDS crisis by conceptual artist Ann Carlson and the poets of the Nuyorican Cafe.

The program was aired in New York City on WNET-13 and WNYC-31, as well as on public television and public access stations across the country. We Interrupt This Program… was a joint project with Visual AIDS, Deep Dish TV, and WYBE Public Television.
