The focus of Art in the Anchorage 6 was the exploration of the sound and light properties of the cavernous interior spaces beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. Creative Time commissioned artists from both New York and Philadelphia to create reactionary, site-specific pieces for the space.

The project produced exciting and thought-provoking art for public presentation, as well as encouraged information exchange among artists. Art in the Anchorage 6 was sponsored by a generous grant from the Pew Charitable Trust.
