For his Lincoln Center performance, Tom Murrin (aka Alien Comic) constructed Cardboard City using cardboard and recyclable packaging materials. The temporary environment was filled with entertaining materials to make and play with, and also served as a prop-filled setting for an Alien Comic performance.

The performance addressed the process of recycling, demonstrating how Alien Comic uses trash, discarded materials, and found objects as inspiration for his props and humorous street scene spectacles.
