Creative Time in Berlin

On May 27, Creative Time and Public Art Agency Sweden came together in Berlin for a night of drinks, dancing and discourse to celebrate our collaboration on the 2014 Creative Time Summit: Stockholm. Artists Ahmet Ögüt, Jonas Staal, and curator Joanna Warsza joined Creative Time Chief Curator Nato Thompson and Director of Public Art Agency Sweden Magdalena Malm to engage in a panel discussion that focused on the agency of artists and curators when working in the public realm. Central to the discussion was the ongoing debate about the role of artists and curators while working alongside public institutions and participating in large exhibitions such as the Berlin Biennale. Over 500 guests were lucky enough to get a sneak peak into the 2014 Summit, as all of the panelists will be presenting this November in Stockholm! The hour of discourse was followed by an after party featuring a special set by Berlin based musician Planningtorock.
