Saskia Bos

Saskia Bos is a curator, art historian, and critical theorist. For two decades she was instrumental in the development of the De Appel Center for Contemporary Art in Amsterdam, acting as Artistic and Managing Director and the Founding Director of the Curatorial Training Program. In 2005, Bos became the Dean of the School of Art at The Cooper Union in New York City. Bos has curated numerous large-scale exhibitions, including the Dutch Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennial, the 2nd Berlin Biennial, the 24th São Paulo Biennial, and over one hundred exhibitions at De Appel Center.
