Brett Kuehner, Tech Designer and Puzzle Consultant has designed puzzles and control system technology for escape rooms across the country, including the Golden Lock-In Award-winning Clock Tower. He led the team that created BrightLogic’s interactive LED ActiveFloor, which can be seen at the Museum of Math in Manhattan and the Frost Museum of Science in Miami. He teaches an escape room design class at a high school in Bergen County, NJ, and plays escape rooms wherever and whenever he can.

The SHISANWU is a materials research and production facility in Glendale, Queens run by Serena Chang and Aric Grauke. They specialize in both manual and digital fabrication technologies, working with a wide range of materials and processes to develop and realize projects across several industries. Between what the SHISANWU produces in house and the network of specialized companies they work with in NYC and abroad, they can make almost anything; from simple material translations to complex, multi-process assemblies and permanent installations.

Tyler McKay, Puzzle Fabricator a multidisciplinary fabricator and woodworker, Tyler has spent almost two decades shaping material, insisting that the material says the same about him. With a vigilant pursuit of old-world techniques shaped by a modern inflection, Tyler’s work represents an intersection of technology and historical, hoping to capture more than the sum of it’s parts. His various works as a fabrication expert have been shown from his home in Toronto, Canada, to New York, Berlin and Prague.

Rachel Elizabeth Cargle is an NYC based writer and lecturer. Her activist and academic work are rooted in providing intellectual tools and resources that explore the intersection of race and womanhood. Her content continues to launch meaningful conversation amongst her large community of followers and readers across social media. In addition to her talk on the TEDx stage, her public lectures have been featured on campuses around the country. Rachel is currently a student at Columbia University.

Brett G. Stoudt, PhD is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department with a joint appointment in the Gender Studies Program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Dr. Stoudt’s interests include the social psychology of privilege and oppression as well as the human impact of the criminal justice system. He is the recipient of The Michele Alexander Early Career Award for Scholarship and Service from The Society for the Psychology Study of Social Issues.

Ran Xia is a playwright, director, and interdisciplinary artist born and raised in Shanghai, China (aka soup dumpling dreamland). Her plays have been seen on stages around New York City, including Pomegrenade at IRT; Harmony at HERE Arts Center, [ai] at the Brick, and many more. Member of Pipeline PlayLab 2020. She is currently a Resident Director at the Tank (Inaugural Artist of the Year award), where she directed the world premiere of Ben Gassman’s Independent Study, and Ailís Ní Ríain’s The Tallest Man in the World. Ran is also a frequent collaborator of Exquisite Corpse Co.

Avi Dobkin is a Long Island native and lighting designer. He is excited to bring his experience in museum and exhibition lighting to his first project with Creative Time. Previous clients include The Museum of the City of New York, Sotheby’s Institute, and the DIA Foundation.

Marcelo Añez has over three decades of experience as sound engineer/designer, and has won four Grammy Awards for his work in the music industry. Recent work includes an installation at the New Frontiers venue at Sundance Film Festival, and at The Met Museum Manus X Machina exhibit. Audio consultant for PS-1, MoMA, TATE Britain. Sound design for 3LD, One Eighth Theater Company, Michael Kors (Kors China). He also sound designed CreativeTime’s Doomocracy by Pedro Reyes.
