Taking inspiration from the frequency with which we travel during the holiday season when we often leave home both physically and psychologically, The Magic Scarf tells the story of a young boy's journey. Animated paper cutouts give The Magic Scarf the nostalgic appeal of a children's fable in which a young character's curiosity leads him to follow migrating birds in flight across the ceiling of the main concourse, and to ultimately join them in their tropical destination. This parable breaches the distance between loved ones as only the holidays are capable of doing and reflects our own dreams for travel, warmth, and friendship.
